What Working with Me is Like: The Process of Building Your Custom Website
01. WE BEGIN WITH A STRATEGY
Before diving into design, it’s important to understand your goals and vision for your website. This is where we lay the foundation for everything that follows. You’ll start by completing my Client Strategy Questionnaire, which gives me valuable insight into your business, your target audience, and your aspirations for your website.
Then, we’ll have a conversation about your project. I want to hear about your business—what excites you, what you want your site to achieve, and where you see your business in the future. From there, I’ll create a personalized project plan for your website (and logo design work, if applicable).
Once you review and accept the project plan, we’ll officially kick off the design process.
02. PUT THE PLAN INTO ACTION
This is where the fun begins! With a strategy in place, the design process starts. If logo crafting services were part of the plan, those will begin alongside the website design.
I’ll conduct thorough SEO research to ensure that your website is optimized for search engines, helping you attract organic traffic. As I build your site, I’ll incorporate your content, web-copy, integrate your branding, and link up your social media accounts.
Throughout this phase, you'll have two edit sessions to ensure everything is just right. I’ll keep you updated with regular check-ins to ensure you’re happy with the direction and that everything aligns with your vision. Communication is key, and I’ll always be available to answer any questions or make adjustments as we go along.
03. LAUNCH!
Once your website is complete, we’ll take a close look at the final version and make any edits or revisions.
You receive a video walk-through where I train you in how to use your new website so you’re fully equipped to use and update it as needed.
